Daytime/night time cycle not working. Game is stuck on one night.

I started a hardcore world in single player and eventually moved it to my realm so my friend could play. After a few hours he died and could only join in spectator mode (normal) but since then it has been permanently night time. I can use my bed but it doesn't change to daytime and the moon has been stuck in the same position, even if I wait it doesn't cycle through to daytime. My day counter stays the same and my crops won't grow. I have tried replacing the world and putting it back on the realm and I've tried playing the world in single player but still have the same issue.|
