Stuck In Spectator Mode In The New Live Event

I talked to the npc in the new live event near spawn to send me through the portal but before I got sent I disconnected when I joined back I got stuck in spectator I couldn't go through the portal couldn't talk to the npc just stuck in spectator I tried rejoining restarting everything but I'm still stuck please fix this asap or I won't be able to get the new cape!!!
