Visual Glitch when path is against leaf blocks

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Place Spruce Leaves 2 blocks high and surround with grass blocks so the bottom leaf block cannot be seen
2. Shovel one of the grass blocks directly adjacent to the spruce leaves

Observed Results:
Where a spruce leaves texture should be seen a texture glitch happens as shown in the photo

Expected Results:

You should see a spruce leaves texture in the gap

This has only been tested with Spruce Leaves and Grass Blocks
