Achievements Exploit via JE2BE Conversion Tool
Issue: Achievements Exploit via JE2BE Conversion Tool
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a survival world in Minecraft Java Edition with commands set to "Off".
- Open the world to LAN and enable commands.
- Switch to Creative mode and obtain diamond armor (or use commands).
- Place the diamond armor in a chest and switch back to Survival mode.
- Save and exit the Java world.
- Use the JE2BE app (available on the Microsoft Store) to convert the Java world to a Bedrock Edition world.
- Export the converted world as an .mcworld file.
- Import and open the world in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Expected Behavior:
Achievements should remain disabled since Creative mode or commands were previously used.
Observed Behavior:
Achievements remain enabled in the converted world. Players can open the chest with the diamond armor and unlock the "Cover Me With Diamonds" achievement or use similar exploits to cheat achievements.
Impact:
This exploit allows users to bypass achievement restrictions in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, undermining the integrity of the game.
