Office Part Event crashes when "locating server"

When trying to join the Office Party Event on a Nintendo Switch I am often unable to join and the software crashes with "the software closed because an error occurred" message. Less than half of the times I try, I am able to join the main lobby, but I have been unable to join any of the other levels (such as mob factory). Minecraft often crashes while Generating World when "locating server".
