Creaking heart activation delay doesn't match Java

When placing a pale log on top of a creaking heart to activate it (or breaking one to deactivate it), the timing differs obviously between editions.

In Bedrock, there is a short delay to activate, and a short delay to deactivate.

In Java, there is no delay to activate, and a medium delay to deactivate.

How to reproduce

1. Place a pale log
2. Place a creaking heart on top
3. Place another pale log on top
4. Break it

Expected results
Creaking heart should instantly activate when the second log is placed, and deactivate half-a-second or so after breaking it

Observed results
Creaking heart activates after a quick delay, and deactivates after a similar delay after breaking it
