Bundle items disappeared when chest containing Bundles was broken.

Lost items within 2 bundles

I destroyed a chest and when I automatically picked up twice bundles within it, the bundles were empty. When they were in the chest they contained diamonds/redstone etc, bit when the chest was destroyed with an axe, the bundles that o picked up no longer contained anything.
