I saw weird lookin Steve in my world

So I was just minding my damn business in minecraft having fun on my single player world while using night vision +spectator and I then noticed Steve in a amethyst cluster and save and quited which I was scared ALOT because I've never seen such a thing and my recorder managed to recover this screen shot (my recorder basically saves a vid from teh last 10 mins of screen shots and I went on my recorder and got teh screen shot)
