Wrong Skin Model

My minecraft skin uses the slim model, but recently, everytime i open the game, i have to reset my skin as it will have always reverted back to the "wide" model.
once i reset it, there are no problems, but this happens everytime, it never used to and it's annoying. please fix this guys!
