More Ores and Tools add on crashing

I bought the add on "More Ores and Tools" by Netherpixel. When I activate the add on, whether it's for a new world or adding to an old, it crashes the game every time. It starts to load, then a drop down notification says "Resource pack fallback. Low memory. Textures will have reduced level of detail" then goes to a black screen that says "The software was closed because an error occurred". I have 16.7 GB of free system memory and 398GB or free microSD memory available.
