Skin is broken? Maybe a cape issue

This happens with every skin I use no matter what I do. The back of the torso turns grey with a green plus. Someone on X(Twitter) said it looked like a cape, but it doesn't say I have one equipped, and it won't let me equip one either, says i equipped it, but nothing changes, the no change issue also applies to when I try to use the character creator in the app.
