Sky color fade is not proportional to the biome transition

Steps to Reproduce:

1. FInd a pale garden
2. Slowly walk towards it while watching the sky closely.

Observed Results:
The fog slowly turns gray as you move closer, but the sky just starts and finishes the transition to gray the moment you step inside of the biome.

Expected Results:
Both the fog and the sky change their colors proportionally in relation to your position, allowing the color to freeze at any point within the transition if you stop moving.
