Problems in creating maximum zoomed maps

Hi,

I'm paying for a realm and for weeks we have the problem now that we can't enlarge newly crafted maps.
It seems to have started with the last bigger update.
Since then we craft a map, draw it up in a new area and as soon as we're trying to enlarge it on the anvil, it turns blank.

This happened also with our last realm. That's why we started a whole new one, thinking that maybe we did something wrong. But we instantly regretted giving up our developed realm for a new one, as we still have the same problem.

As I mentioned, I am paying for this realm, but this problem is a spoilsport.
Please help us.
