Can only see half a map in vertical split screen

When I play split screen Minecraft Bedrock on Xbox One with my little brother, whenever i pull out a map, I literally have to put the map in the offhand slot or an item frame in order to see the entire map. This is because when I hold the map in the main hand, the map shifts to the left side of the screen and I can only see half of it. However, if I am playing single player, it is completely normal. The issue only occurs on split screen. Fix this, plz
