The use of observers increases the speed of magma ignition.

• When observers are placed opposite each other and block updates occur continuously, flames are more likely to be generated by flammable objects placed next to the magma.

 

It is a useful gimmick that can be ignited without the use of flint, so if it is the intended specification, I would like to use it for traps.
