Player can load inside of blocks after a crash

My game crashed and I spawned in a wall when reloading the world, without my pickaxe so I died by suffocating.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Give yourself a pickaxe and mine a 1 block wide tunnel for at least 20 blocks distance.
2. Make the game crash or force-close.
3. Reopen the game and the world.

Observed Results:
When the world opens you are inside blocks and may not have your pickaxe, and therefore you most likely will die.

Expected Results:
You should load safely after a crash.
