Bug with edited Enchanted Golden Apples

I play in PVP realms, and I noticed that while I'm being crit out and I eat an enchanted apple, the absorption hearts appear, but one hit will cause it to bug and disappear. This bug has nothing to do with the new change of Regen V to Regen II. This happens when I'm hit with either a sword or a crystal.
