Unable to renew realm

when attempting to renew my realm it keeps failing and telling me to check my internet connection. I've tried this on 2 different devices and 3 different networks. The purchase and renewal process from an Apple mobile device is broken!

What I expected to happen was...:
it should just renew the realm. 

What actually happened was...:
see above under the details of the issue I am having 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. attempting to renew subscription 
  2. it fails
