My blocks won’t go away in the end. Crashes sometimes.

I put the word, “TRASH” one block above the void in the End. Then I wanted to destroy it and no matter what I did, the words wouldn’t be gone after I exited the game and went back in. Over time some of the letters have eventually gone when I would destroy it over and over, but today I discovered that this sometimes causes a game crash if I destroy the blocks and quickly exit, go back in and start destroying the blocks again. This glitch has existed for over a year and I’ve never tested on any other platforms. I also am not sire if this is a sign of corruption in my world and is not actually a bug.
