After signing out and exiting the game, the launcher attempts to sign me in the next time I open it.

I signed in to my Microsoft account on my Pocket Edition of Minecraft for the first time a few months ago in order to do a playthrough with a new world and earn all the achievements.  I completed them, and with hurricane Milton approaching, and knowing that my internet would be down, I wanted to be able to play Minecraft offline like I did for years before signing in, so I signed out.

Well, after Milton did his job, I was without power, without water, without internet, and without cell service.  Offline Minecraft was about the only thing I COULD do to pass the time.  So imagine my dismay when I went to open it, and the launcher tried signing me in.  Since I had no wifi, it tried to use cellular data. Since I didn’t have reliable cell service (basically one bar of 4G, intermittently), the launcher repeatedly tried logging me in, so much so that the splash animation was brought to a complete stuttering crawl.  I was not able to interact with the menu in any way.

I exited the game, went to my phone settings, and turned off cellular data. When I relaunched Minecraft, it did not insist on signing me in, so I was able to go to the Minecraft settings to confirm that I was indeed “signed out.”

The game should not attempt to sign me in automatically when I have signed out.  For any reason. This is unacceptable behavior.
