Block breaking particles no longer update the direction of the emitter

Steps to Reproduce:

1. In survival mode, start breaking a block
   The particles are coming from the face you're hitting.
2. Without releasing the button, target a different face or block.

Observed Results:
The particles still come out of the same direction of the face you started hitting.

Expected Results:
The particles start coming from the new target face without needing to restart the breaking process.
