When entering Nether portal in realms, crashes, and upon entering, leaves you with glitched screen

I was using a Kindle Fire HDX when doing this. This bug also happened on Iphone 6s. When entering a nether portal, your game will crash on realms. When re-entering that realm, your screen will gljtch and turn into the home screen. Now I noticed i'm still in the game, it is just I can't see what I'm doing. I don't know if it happens on Android, but it happened on Kindle Fire HDX and Iphone 6s. Pleasenl help. 0.16.2
