Blocks breaking below the player when split controls are enabled and not looking down

When in survival mode, split controls enabled on Joystick gameplay, not looking down, and using a shovel, the block below it, it sometimes breaks even when the player isn’t looking down. This happened unexpectedly with no screenshots/recordings. This is happening more frequently now. I was using an iPhone 15 Pro
Should happened: Block in front of you breaks at all times in split controls.
