Inventory bar, pause and chat button disappear

I was playing bedwars on the Hive server. When I opened the item shop, the pause button, open chat button and my inventory all disappeared. I was then disconnected from the game and had to reload the app. I couldn't access my inventory nor pause the game. Did anyone else have this issue?
