I cannot turn on Education edition in Minecraft pocket edition.

when I updated my Minecraft, the education edition suddenly seemed permanently turned off. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, but the issue remained. without education edition, several of the mods I have downloaded and installed no longer work, and the worlds they were installed on become unplayable. please fix this
