Placing a block immediately after picking it up produces a ghost item

Picking up a block and then immediately placing it (like within a few frames of picking it up) will place the block and leave a ghost duplicate of the item in your hotbar. This works with any block or placeable item.

I tested and confirmed this on PC and iOS, but on iOS I couldn't get it to work without using the crosshair control mode (maybe im just bad?)
