Items being stuck in inventory

Sometimes items get stuck in my inventory and won’t let me place them in chest, drop, move around in inventory, or craft with them. If it happens in the hot bar I can drop the items but I can’t fix it when it happens in my inventory. Everyone that I know has this problem too.
