in the creative inventory if try to put an item into your extended inventory (not hotbar) it just disappears

Pocket Edition/ Bedrock:

When I tried to get ANY item from the creative inventory it disappears unless you put it in your hotbar. In any other inventory slot, you cant. You still can move items from your hotbar to the other inventory slots, but not straight from the creative inventory.
