Minecraft crashes after I apply a Resource Pack

Everytime I apply a Resource Pack and then fully close the game (double press the home button and then close Minecraft), Minecraft will crash at the "Mojang" screen.. After the crash, if you double click the home button, you can see the title screen, but tappig on Minecraft will crash the app again.
