Cannot join multiplayer world

When I try to join my friends world on PS5, I sit on “connecting to world” and then it stops gives me an error.

I signed in to a separate account on my PS5 (with a separate Microsoft account attached to it) and I am able to join then. But I am unable to join on my first account.

I tried unlinking my Microsoft account but that does not even work and just endlessly spins.

Please assist, this has been several days long and I have been unable to play at all since the latest update.
