Multiplayer doesn't work with new update

Using the PlayStation network ever since the new Minecraft update has been installed we no longer can connect into a world we have been been previously using. We used it the day before the update just fine. We've restarted PlayStations, internet routers, signed in and out of PlayStation networks, checked that the multiplayer function was selected. Nothing has changed from when it was working except that a Minecraft update was done.
