Online features (marketplace/friends servers) only work when I run minecraft on a virtual machine on my PC.

Please stop labelling this incorrectly as a duplicate of a different problem. It is not the same problem. Please actually read my description. 

 

To the team,

 

I CAN only access the marketplace and my friends servers when I play minecraft on a virtual machine running on my PC. I CANT access the marketplace and friends server when I play minecraft on my actual local build of windows.

 

There is likely a cached file somewhere related to my microsoft account that is not being removed when I uninstall/reinstall minecraft on my local build. Minecraft sign in ONLY works when I replace the folder (Microsoft.MinecraftUWP..) on my local build with the folder generated from the version that works on my virtual machine. But, I still can't access any of the online features.

 

I repeat, my marketplace DOES SIGN IN AND WORK when I run minecraft on a virtual machine. It DOES NOT work when I run minecraft, with the same account, on my local PC.

 

Any help is appreciated.
