Falling off blocks when pillaring up, even when crouched

When pillering up player falls of block like being pushed off by water 

What I expected to happen was...:
I don't fall off 

What actually happened was...:
I fell off 

Steps to Reproduce:

1. ...jump place block 
2. ...jump place block 
3. ...Jump place block... 
4. ...Jump oh no I have been randomly pushed to the side and have died
