Receiving falling damage

Often i randomly receive a falling damage while running, or going up or down a stairs. Seems like game loosing the track of me, and then suddenly finds me again and place with huge speed on the map.

Its quite annoying. I even managed to die from falling from a 2 blocks high structure.
