Wandering trader cannot despawn if it enters the nether

As of Aug 4,  2024 I've played on a survival world for exactly 356 in game days, and about 100 days ago I noticed a wandering trader slipped into my nether portal and now it's stuck walking in circles, sometimes standing on my respawn anchor but won't despawn. Everytime I come back to my nether base he's just there staring at me or going around in circles and I know it's the same one because he sells the exact same things everytime.
