Crash in iOS when mining Trapped Chest

When mining multiple blocks from a tunnel bore machine (so slime and redstone components) the game crashes when you start to mine a trapped chest.  I’m on an iPad Pro 12.9 gen 5.  Has now happened 4 times over the last two days.
