realms disables you from doing anything

basically, i hop on my friends realm, and it makes me look like i have poor internet or i dont have options to do anything in the realm. the only thing i can see is my friends moving while doing stuff and i cant do anything even if im moving from my pov while they see me standing still. Please fix this.
