Category tab icons can disappear when switching from Classic to Pocket UI

Steps to reproduce:

1. Disable the recipe book
2. Switch from Classic UI to Pocket UI, and then back to Classic UI
3. Enable the recipe book
4. Hover over/select any of the category tabs

Observed result:
Their icons are invisible when hovered over.

Expected result:
Their icons are visible when hovered over.
