snow layers / snow biomes lag terribly until we crash

When you go in a snow biome, or place a lot of snow layers, the lag is unbearable. The same happens with carpets. It is so bad I end up crashing.

this bug does not happen on windows 10, it only happens on IOS and Android.

I am running MCPE on a iphone7+ and every player I know gets the same issue.
