Can't join friend in minecraft ps5 preview was able to before the new 1.21.20.22 update

Currently playing ps5 minecraft preview made the world the day they announced and was able to play multi-player, after the 1.21.20.22 update for preview my friend can't join my world, also tested it on her world, and the game won't even let me join her too. It would take forever to load, then just won't let you join
