Horses and Donkeys can't get in boats

I can't put horses or donkeys in the boats. I've been abandoning the poor creatures for a long time because of this problem, but I am finally getting frustrated because I really need horses and donkeys brought with me in the boat. Just like in The Swiss Family Robinson movie. Please fix this. Thanks!
