Not able to naturally regen to full hearts in Hardcore Preview

My health is always capped half a heart from max. Any damage that takes half a heart still takes half a heart too, so it has limited my health by 0.5 hearts. 

When eating golden apples or regen potions, the heart is regenerated but open taking damage or re loading world the half heart dissappears!
