Achievements not showing up for bedrock

Achievements are not showing up though I have created this minecraft account around 5 or 6 days ago: Connected to internet, when I press creative it asks 'This will turn off achievements are you sure?', xbox and minecraft both connected with xbox live, what could be wrong?
