Cannot customize color of body items from default character creator skins

After the latest update, the hair color is no longer customizable when creating a character from the premade characters.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create Character
2. Select any character (e.x. Makena)
3. Go to Body -> Bases/Hairs/etc.

Observed result:
The "paint palette" icon no longer appears on the bottom left corner of the character preview window for any default body items.

Expected result:
The "paint palette" icon appears and you are able to customize the color of the default body items.
