Can't edit skin on character creator

The character creator is stuck in that skin, and I can't change it at all.

How to reproduce:
Create a new character, or try to change any of the items.

Observed results:
The character keeps the equipped item.

Expected results:
The character should be equipped or inequipped accordingly.
