Steve skins for bedrock players in cross platform servers

I play on a server that’s cross platform, bedrock and Java, and all bedrock players skins aren’t loading. So when you go to exit the game and your avatar shows up, it shows your custom skin, but in the actual game you look like Steve both to yourself and to other players. This is happening with all bedrock players of the server, including those who play on consoles.
