Trial spawner zombies take player's armor and don't drop it

A ominous trial spawner was activated and zombies spawned with armor, but another player died and its armor got taken by a zombie, later the zombie didn't drop the armor that it took. I know creatures from ominous spawners can't drop their armor or weapons, but also should drop or shouldn't take from other players.
