The mobs generated by the bad omen potions in the trial chambers take your armor and tools.

Hello, how are you? I come to report a problem that I have found in my world while playing the new update of the "trial chambers", I was exploring a trail chamber and I took a bottle of bad omen to make the wave stronger, so I can get the best keys. The problem is that while I was fighting against them, I lost all my enchanted diamond armor and several tools, because they killed me when I approached them, because there were many particles and the game was not going very well and when killing me a zombie had placed my armor pieces (all) and my shield, others took some tools too and when killing them, because they do not let go of anything, I lost all my progress with lost armor and tools.

Can you tell me if this is a bug in the game? It doesn't seem very fair to me the truth.
Is there any way I can get my stuff back? It's a year of progress please.
