my launcher says my game is updated but when i open my game it is still on 1.20.81 instead of 1.21

when I open my launcher it shows that the 1.21 update is out for Minecraft windows but when i launch the game it says it is in version 1.20.81 instead of 1.21. I have restarted my computer, launcher, and app but nothings worked. I have turned on and off my anti-virus and i have tried repairing the game and launcher
