Banner does not appear in the recipe book, (recipe unlocking turned off)

I tried to find the banner in the recipe book but I couldn't find it, even if I had 6 wool and a stick, when I typed "banner" in the search bar, it only showed me banner patterns, so I manually crafted the banner with the stiff mobile UI.
